Saturday was the first ride in memory of Mark King aka Gay Mark or Kinger. Nearly 50 people descended on The Star pub in Dorking to remember Mark & raise money for Surrey Air Ambulance, with at least one piece of clothing being pink! We headed off via Westcott to 'Heads Roll' & then visited The Plough Pub in Coldharbour to meet up with members of his family. It was a very poignant time with many memories shared & of course many laughs had, which of course is inevitable where Mark is involved. The amazing sum of £980 was raised for Surrey Air Ambulance, which as mountain bikers, we're probably more aware than most people what an invaluable service they provide. Please take the time to check this link out to their website & consider making a donation to a service we all may have to call upon at some point in our lives. https://www.kssairambulance.org.uk/give
