Excellent turnout for the Leith Hill Mega on Saturday night. Terrific atmosphere as well & with much anticipation of what lay ahead. Luckily there was no carnage on the tower descent just excellent skills dealing with the roots which had become a little bit slippy by the downpour of rain which dampened the trail but not the spirits. First down was a guy in a british cycling skinsuit, which was a little bit incongruous with everyone else in baggies! However, he pinned it from top to bottom so got away with it. I believe his name was Liam, so well done. Everyone else got down in one piece to be welcomed by beers at the finish. Then onto 'The Star' in Dorking to continue the merriment. Thanks to Dave for organising. Mountain biking...Can't beat it.
