Thanks to Fritz for this video of our Saturday ride, on a beautiful day in July
A few images which captured the essence of the Saturday ride & mountain biking. Glorious weather, fantastic trails & great riding buddies, it's what's mountain biking is all about. Photos courtesy of Lesham, the handsome one posing on his Pivot.....
After a recent tragic local event, I think it's worth mentioning that although our fabulous Paramedics & Ambulance driver's are publicly funded, the Air Ambulance isn't. For as little as £2 per month (options available) we could make a difference to something which may one day save our or our loved ones lives.https://www.kssairambulance.org.uk/give/reds
The trails were in primo condition for both the Saturday jump ride & the Sunday ride. Here's a nice little video of the guys riding a newly discovered trail called 'Uncle Albert'. The beauty of riding in the Surrey Hills is that you never get bored, always fresh, always fun!

Some of the guys were up in Yorkshire the the Ard rock Enduro. The feedback from Tony B, our resident rider, mechanic & guru, is that it's the best event he's ridden! Epic climbs combined with epic downhills. Some of the hardest riding he's encountered. Well done to Tony, Jon, Ryan & Ian. Here's a little write on on what enduro racing is about by Tony Berlin:
So last race of the uk Gravity enduro coming up weekend of 19th sept, places left. So what's this enduro racing like? Well I' …
Last Friday we headed off to Bikepark Wales. The 5.30am start was a bit of a shock, but it was well worth it. The weather was superb with plenty of sun & no wind & the trails were dry. Managed to fit in 9 runs & lunch at the excellent cafe. The whole set up is very professional with very little waiting time between up lifts. Dan has put together a little video of some of the action & he's the rider in the photo.
The weather was great & the trails in perfect condition so there was a good turn out for the Sunday ride. We took in Ranmore first & enjoyed styling up some of the jumps on Reformation & Neil managed to do a 14ft gap jump which had defeated him previously, so well done there. Headed over to Drum & Bass where the jumps have been altered with the take off ramps much steeper, great for a hardtail but quite tricky on a full sus. Lunch was at the teashop in Shere, who do a sandwich & …
Here's a review of our demo Intense T275c & Stereo 160 HPC by Dan Hutchings, who has become a regular rider with us over the year. It also give an informative view on the diferences between 27.5 & 29" wheels....
Trying a new wheelsize for…. erm size! I suppose I should introduce myself so you have an idea of what I’m about. I started riding properly about 20 months ago. The last mountain bike I had and actually rode was a fully rigid Evans own brand that I bought for about …
So 20 years ago to the day, we opened our doors with eager expectations & our Sunday ride began. Who would have thought all this time later we would still be leading a ride out on a Sunday. The rain had abated from the dreary drizzle from the day before & the sun made an appearance every now & then. It was inevitable that we would get muddy but with Simon leading the ride & drawing on 20 years of experience, this was kept to a minimum with a well chosen route. It did have a bit …
